Intellectual-17
The Intellectual-17 programme is a direct career mentorship initiative that will mentor students in tertiary institutions with career focused skills. This programme will give priority to tertiary students from under privileged backgrounds although it will admit all others.
In our first year, we are focusing on providing mentorship and training for tertiary students studying communication and journalism related programmes at the undergraduate level to help ensure they emerge with the best possible skills young professionals can get. We hope to scale it up as the years go by.
Beneficiaries will be selected through rigorous competitive processes; and then they will be taken through a one year carefully developed curriculum that will equip them for their careers. Joseph Opoku Gakpo and experienced professionals in the communication field will provide mentorship for the young ones so they can learn as much as they can.
